Bridge for Let's Play Music Graduates
This fun and thorough curriculum is an extension of LPM and designed to take the LPM grad’s skills to a new level, truly transitioning them to private piano lessons. Carefully crafted lessons include instruction on ear training, harmony, melody, sight reading, rhythm, music history, theory, technique and musicality.
Bridge is a one year musicianship course consisting of 30 lessons taught over two semesters. Weekly lessons are 60 minutes beginning in September and ending in May. Tuition is $340 a semester. Materials cost $50-75 for the year.
Advanced Theory
Developing total musicianship is an important goal in Bridge. The curriculum includes music dictation, sight reading, developing relative pitch, self accompanying, music history, and music theory.
Group Classes
Music with friends is fun. In our group class, we are able to develop ensemble skills which prepares kids for future music learning opportunities like participating in bands, orchestras and choirs.
Focus on Technique
Bridge class and at home practice assignments focus on improving finger strength and performance technique on the piano. This prepares kids for private piano lessons.
